*This challenge is open to everybody; even if I didn't invite you, you're welcome to participate. I missed a few people, so don't take it too personally. ^^
Hello everyone! This is probably my first challenge in years. >o<
My challenge may be a little bit personal. You may not feel comfortable participating, and I'm fine with that. We've all been that age where nothing in the world was more important than getting presents from Santa Claus. Maybe you just wanted to have the best set of crayons. Or--if you were like me XD--have the latest version of Tamagatchi. Or perhaps you weren't so fortunate, and grew up in a tough environment. Maybe your parents divorced when you were young. Maybe you learned something of significance that possibly changed everything you believed in.
For this challenge, I want you to make a card that somehow represents or captures something from your past, specifically your childhood. But I don't mean make a timeline. I want you to take a special memory that makes you smile, laugh, cry, and all those good things. Take a snippet from your childhood that you thought was significant, and make a card out of it.
You can be up front and use an image that portrays what your card is literally about. Or you could be subtle and find an image that symbolizes your memory. Play around with the words. Be creative. However you do it, just make sure you can link it to a childhood memory of yours.
Some memories you could use:
-The first tooth you lost
-Your first stuffed animal/toy (or something you were attached to)
-Your first friend
-Your first day of pre-school/kindergarten/grade 1
-A storybook you really loved or bedtime stories
-Your first injury (scrapes, cuts, bruises or even something emotional)
-Your first lie
-Your parents' divorce
-Your first time at a certain place (amusement/theme park, seaside, restaurant, etc)
-And many more
Or, like I said, you can be subtle and use a totally different theme of images. Completely up to you.
-Follow theO rules
-Include a childhood memory, not a timeline of your entire childhood.
-Limit of three submissions
-I would prefer if you used anime/manga images, but if you want/have to, you can use video game/real life images.
And I think that's all. If I remember anything, I'll add more later on, but for now, if you have any questions, or are confused about anything, just ask!
You have two months. Good luck~
