I despise cruelty towards Pit Bulls. They are gentle dogs that don't know any better. It's the people who fight them who should be banned. In fact, I believe animal abusers in general should be punished to the full extent. Even a punishment of equal brutality is good for them. It may be "unlawful," but what they do to animals is just as unlawful.
