Well, talk about cutting it close with my entry! Lol. I kept meaning to enter this, and then...it ended up being the day that it's over...haha. The last day. Well. XD Here it is! I know the challenge asks for the quote to be from my FAVORITE book, but I have too many of those, so I went with the book I'm currently reading. It's really really good. The third/last in the series Scarlet and the White Wolf, The Land of Night by Kirby Crow. It's a boys-love/yaoi fantasy novel series (not manga). <3 These books were so short! The first two were only 200 pages about. That is not enough lol. But they were so good! This quote came from page 104...when Scarlet and Liall are talking and kind of arguing since Liall isn't around as much...and I shouldn't go into things. It would be too confusing. XD

Anyhoo!! I just liked this quote. I think it's true...even though Scarlet said it to hint at Liall that he should pay attention to him more...it does ring true. We should pay attention to the people we are with and around, and those that we love and love us, not just where we are. We could go to the most beautiful location on earth, but without someone to share it with...it isn't as beautiful. Although, maybe you are a loner and would prefer it that way, but these are my feelings lol!

I used this scan from Niea_7. That is a classic anime. One of my faves. :) I've had that scan forever, and now I finally found a good place for it lol. Um, I desaturated it actually in some parts...and had more color in the background...then added a texture and some brushes and the quote. Well, the typography took me forever cause I am not used to working with a lot of text!!! I prefer using one big bold statement or word lol...and I couldn't do that here. XD I guess it's ok. ^^;
