<.<; No Buck-Tick category? >.>; Interesting.
So happy to know it's okay to do groups than just one person on this challenge because I can't choose. ;~; Well more like I could, but as a whole it's a much stronger connection. :)
The words play on what the drummer, Toll Yagami (upper left), answered in an interview I believe or it was a question that was asked about the band's longevity. And he answered something along the lines till one of them dies. XD Which till this point he might not be joking. They all in their 40s and still going. New music of theirs will be release this year. :)
I've been obsessed with their music lately. And the more I learn about them the more I began to really like them. They have been together since 1985. Well they started in 1983, but they changed singers and added a new drummer. They felt that the first singer just didn't fit and I think I read he agreed as well. So Sakurai (the singer now, in the chair on the e-card) took the role. He was originally the drummer. But this isn't an essay. XD Just they have been together for so long. It amazes me how Imai (on the far right) didn't know how to play an instrument at first, but wanted to start up a band anyways. And yeaaaah...
So I won't ramble on forever....but I feel I will... Being around for many years creating tons of music it seems they only evolve and get better. Some musicians that be around for so long tend to lose their cool I guess you can say especially with bands...so many member changes and break-ups. I never heard of these members not getting along. Another thing I think draws me to them is that they don't have a leader. They all have a their own part in the band one way or another and are pretty much equals despite seeing more Sakurai and Imai in photos than the rest of them. Like Toll tend to do the management. And Higuchi (the bass player, bottom left) seems to do most of the communication for the band. Then Hide (guitarist and such between Toll and Imai) help write songs and such. Sakurai who write lyrics and whatnot...just they all play some part besides the parts they perform.
Their music ranges from different genres and styles which not everything sounds the same. They tend to put alot of effort in their live performances as well. I can pretty much go on forever. X)
So yeah. That's why I'm pretty obsessed with them at the moment. I hate I didn't get into them much sooner. I knew about them since I heard the opening of 'Trinity Blood' years ago, but about around November? I began listening to more of their music and became a fan. :)

How Long Will It Last?
