Gosh so many movies touch my heart...but out of all of them I choose The Green Mile which is based off of Stephen King's "The Green Mile". Though I haven't read it yet. I probably should...especially since I love the movie so much and most tend to say the books are better than the film that adapted it.
This movie not only touch my heart, but it also pierce through my soul. No matter how many times I watch it I just...it feels like it's my first time watching. All the emotions just...wow...for it to be a rather dark and disturbing plot line it managed to still have some moments of smiles, a bit of laughter...which makes me so attach to the characters to when they go through something horrible...gosh it's just so sad. I never cried so hard for a movie till this one well I mean I have, but this one just does something. Then you have those antagonists...man they play their role. I get so angry by them. Just gosh...probably one of the few films I've seen I just felt so emotionally involve.
I do recommend this movie. I'll admit, there might be a few slow parts here and there...and again it does deal with a disturbing subject matter being that most of it takes place on death row. I don't want to go into too much detail because I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it.

Quote: Well this is the full quote, "I'm tired, boss. Tired of bein' on the road, lonely as a sparrow in the rain. I'm tired of never having me a buddy to be with, to tell me where we's going to or coming from, or why. Mostly, I'm tired of people being ugly to each other. I'm tired of all the pain I feel and hear in the world every day. There's too much of it. It's like pieces of glass in my head all the time. Can you understand?" -John Coffey
