They're naggy and pushy and they're always there. "That's a horrible way of saying that!" "Erase and try again!" "That was terrible! A child could write that!" It's the voice of your inner critic, your inner editor, trying to boss you around. They impeed you in your quest to write from the heart.

And so I am here to make a suggestion. Whether it's in writing or in art, we all have our own editor. This contest is for us to personify each of our individual editors...and put a reign on them! Put it in a pen, put it on a leash, lock it up, whatever. We don't want them messing with us unless we actually want their help!
