My second challenge!! Here's to hoping it goes better than the first. :)

Manga and anime have been around for a while now. and boy has it grown up! But only ten years ago things were very different. Nevertheless even older mangas had super awesome story lines and bada$$ characters. Wouldn't it be cool if they remade some of those stories now?

Challenge: i want you guys to pick a manga and/or anime that was produced before 1995 and redraw one or more characters from that manga/anime as how they'd look like now if they were remade into an anime. maybe more detailed, more futuristic, etc.

Rules!!
~HAS TO BE FROM A MANGA/ANIME PRODUCED BEFORE 1995!
~Character(s) have to be wearing an outfit that at least resembles their original one. Meaning you can tweak it, but not change it completely.
~No Linearts! Neat sketches, uncolored, colored, digital or traditional okay. as long as it looks visually appealing. (backgrounds optional to)
~Up to2 submissions per person.
~...i think thats it.

Judging will be based on:
~creativity
~likeness to original character
~originality
~the "awesomeness" factor. ^_^

Prizes!♥ (depending on how many ppl join)
~first: colored digital piece of a character of your choice, a gift, & a sub. (not the sandwich)
~second: linart and a gift
~third: a gift
