I didn't mean to confuse you at all. Fish is not sin, but faith and abundance. What you're offering your character is your faith and abundance of spirit. It's only my interpretation. Also, the I only mention water because fish come from water. Therefore, your character has a water spirit.

So...are you saying that the fish represents sin?? ha ha ha, as deep and thoughtful as your comment is it kind of confuses me. You speak of the fish as being from the uncoscious to the ocean to sin..to man. I am pretty sure it isnt sin but perhaps maybe something of the hidden part of myself. Or something, because it is popping out of the cup like a suprise.

Water holds endless mystery to us – it represents that which is certainly there, but cannot be seen. In Christianity, the fish is a symbol of abundance and faith as observed in the Biblical story of fishes and loaves. There are also several Biblical references as Christ and his disciples being “fishers of men.” Here, man is represented as the transformational fish and the ocean is a symbol of the abyss of sin in which man finds himself.

I think the colors and background came out well, but I agree it feels to bright especially for you!! You could darken it or intensify the saturation on the paint.net download I thold you about...hmm, stupid scanners and the minds they seem to have. Tsk tsk them! T.T But I suppose the lighter look is a bit appropriate for the characters maybe? I don't really know them but they seem a bit bright, perhaps? 0,o
