Its an old fantasy movie from the 1985. link
Its got fairies, unicorns and a giant red demon evil lord. Its a really good movie. I think it was made by the same people that did the Never Ending Story movie.
Thank you! I used to think that only pros used photoshop but it appears that there are many other great programs available. I'd like to give other programs a try
I really hope you get around to doing it! I would love to see how that works. Well, there is always GIMP, which is what I use. But your are it unique that way :)
I create makeshift layers by opening up different MS Paint windows and copying and pasting things thogether. I promised someone that I'd make a tutorial but I haven't fulfilled it. :(
If I had Photoshop, perhaps my process wouldn't take so long
I just didn't want people to make drastic statements like "You dare draw a Nazi and a Swastika? You Hitler youth!!!"
But anywho, nope I don't use photoshop! I use MS Paint and HP Image Zone; the latter being a program that came installed in my computer many years ago. I draw the picture, scan it, turn it completely black and white in HP IZ and then color it with MS Paint. The entire process takes from as little as a few hours to an entire day.
Don't worry about it! I didn't mean to bother you. I was just a bit worried because many people on TheO might misunderstand this picture for the worse, just because they are not educated enough and might take it the wrong way. It's part of the character, so it is obviously understandable. Sorry if I bothered you :O
I heard about those. They sold them here in Austria but were quickly taken of the market. Apparently the buttons had a swastika on it. It's actually quite sad, because the original sign meant "good luck" in Hindu and thanks to the Nazis has so many negative rep.
BTW, do you use Photoshop?
Please do not misunderstand me. I never said that the actions of the Nazi's were no big deal. My point was that I know some people are very sensitive about the topic and may make claims that I might be a supporter of the Nazis and all that they stood for the sole reason of my piece having a Swastika on it and I like a character who happens to be a member of the National Socialist's party.
Further more I should like to give an example of people being a little too sensitive about the topic. I believe it was last year that a fashion label released a line of clothing inspired by the German uniforms of WWII. Though there were no Swastika armbands, no SS patches, or any other symbol linking the clothing to Fascism or the Nazism, the brand received so many emails of complaints from customers being offended that they took the products off the shelf.
To be frank, I had wrote what I did to avoid sparking something but perhaps I underestimated the feelings of others. If I offended you, I apologize and as stated, didn't want to offend anyone. Just to clarify that I am sincere, I am not a "neo-Nazi" and I do believe the Holocaust was a terrible part of modern-day history that shouldn't have happened.
Overly sensitive indeed since Nazis like...killed and massacred millions of people. I don't think one can be sensitive enough. You might want to be a bit careful when uploading things like this.
Besides that, I really like how you have a thing for villains! I'm like that too. What do you use to color your drawings?

He looks like the evil demon from the movie Legend!
This guy does look cool. Never read the comics but he looks really wicked.
