-i think i spent about 5 hours on it (sounds about right..)- i only really measured things like head placement, nose, ears and lips, but yeah i got sick of it after so long -__-" eheh

i don't know if it'll help you any, but it helped me when i was starting out to know the head is broken up into measurements- eyebrows typicaly line up with the top of an ear (my ears are skrewy here), and the bottom of the ear lines up with the bottom of the nose. from top(minus hair) to chin eyes lay at the halfpoint and the mouth is along the 3/4th line. --hopes that helps some, good luck with your profiles! read lots of manga! it helps a ton! ^_^ b

I like the right side more too- im not a huge fan of drawing smiles unless it's on sorrow's face haha. there's just something about a straight face that make me giddy so i think i'm better at drawing them- better have the main focus on the real kid though right?

After staring at this for a minute I've decided....I like the right side more then the left. Don't get me wrong everything's amazing, but I tend to focus on the right Kid more then the Left. :/ Strange isn't it?

This is cool. I have been practicing sie profiles a lot today so it was a bit educational to see this picture. This feels like it could be an episode. ofc the real one would be on the right i think XD. I must say, what I like most about this would be the artistic approach you took with the line-art.
