I know this is an older piece, but I just came across it now! It's amazing! Wow. You can really draw birds well. Do you happen to be a bird photographer as well? That is what I enjoy doing. Birds. <3 Kingfishers are very cool, but really hard to get pics of lol. But this drawing is gorgeous!

Oh my word this is fantastic^^ You don't see alot of this kinda art here guess cuase its an anime site lol^^ Keep up the awesome work your sahding is done perfectly on the feathers as well as the three's brunch

I'm finally going to do this critique for you! >.< I'm sorry it took so long!
This I must say is a lovely drawing, this bird seems so real! And i love pencil drawings. The only downside to this drawing is that it would of been nice to see a background added to it. (I know sometimes I get even lazy with that, but I had to find a flaw in this!) The top of the beck needs to be a little bit smoother, it kinda has some lines sticking out. The branch that the bird is sitting on needs a shadow of the bird, i mean i can see you did a little bit of it, but not much. You should get darker in some areas too like how the beck is. Really, overall this is awesome. You should really continue this, if anime isn't "your cup of tea" pick up this form of art work. You will be a wonderful artist. In this drawing you do show different lights and darks, and also some textures with the feathers. It would be nice to challenge yourself and try to draw a human portrait? Seriously continue to do this, don't waste your talent >.<
This is gorgeous! I love the shading and the way you added texture to the branch and the feathers. Soooo pretty! I really like art like this, are you going to submit any more older art of yours? ^^
