Epic Awareness picture! This one took two days instead of three. I just added the background this morning. It's supposed to be a forest with a floor covered in thick ferns, but I can't get that detailed.
Okay, so, this is one of the characters I originally thought up in Epic. I drew a picture of him a while back and I got to say that I like this one much better. So, this is Caleb kara Masou at about thirteen, probably close to fourteen. In the show he's fifteen so his hair is longer and he's always wearing a hooded robe or something. But in the picture he's still home so he dresses like the rest of his people, with cloth and furs. He was hunting so that's why he's got a knife.
And now to explain the other half of the picture. I started drawing this as Caleb talking to his little brother, but then Caleb ened up looking a little mad and confused. So then it was going to be him with his mother, but then I realised I didn't actually know what she looked like and I didn't feel like drawing another person. I had all that empty space and Caleb was obviously interacting with someone, so I drew a really rough outline just to fill in the space. Then I gave it hair and an expression. Then I decided for it to be transparent-ish. I'm really not sure what it is, but I call him Cald, just because that's what this file is saved under. I had one titled Caleb already so I put Cal and hit a key at random. Caleb is the character though. Cald was just for the picture. Cald is copywrite me and Caleb is copywrite The Unsaid Works (corporate baby). Thanks for looking.
