I can't believe it... I was a member of this site for over 2 years and I never posted anything... I guess I just forgot about it.

since I have been laid off from work, I have more time to watch recent anime. "Spice and Wolf", was, at first, a little boring. But when Horo (the girl in the picture, she's a wolf, even though her coloration reminds me more of a fox than a wolf), turned back into her wolf form, she was so freaking amazing that I had to draw a fanart of her.

In her human form, she looks like a little girl no more older than 14, but in reality, she's a wolf that I believe, has lived for many years. I love the story of her being sick and tired of serving as a god to a village, she just wants to return to her homeland to the North.

She travels in wheat, hence, that is why I put her in front of a wheat field. The frame was made by me using images from the Internet, I wanted something medieval looking. The sky was made using brushes (look to my favs if you want them for yourself).

I'm really happy with this, took a little longer to do, but it was worth it, and I'm improving in my shading.
