Okay, so along with my current gaming obsession with Koei's "Samurai Warriors" series, I read that sometimes Samurai had their wives with them at battles, perhaps not IN the fighting all that much, but yeah, anyways, those two mixed and I came up with this mental picture - (in case you're wondering, "Smaurai warriors's" inspiration came through in her somewhat fantastical clothing) a bored, indifferent, somewhat bratty wife of some random General sitting behind in the encampment hoping that her hubby will hurry up and finish his head-hacking for the day.

I got the idea at iHop one night and sketched the first version there, but it was done without construction, free-handed (yes, bad bad bad!! I know, but I was in a "I don't give a crap" mood that night) so I re-did her here with a little more attention to construction and it was minorly improved, anatomy's still off, but I consider this a "Whatever" picture, not a "I have to make this my next masterpiece" picture, so honestly I really don't care.

put it in "Original anime/manga" because she's not an actual Samurai Warriors OC, she's just a design, no back story or name, and also they don't even HAVE a Samurai Warriors category, so yeah.
