I'm not sure what to do with this one. It's a thank you card, of course! I tried out a new style, which I really like, and I'm now going to include a lot of eye designs on my characters. I was thinking about making a manga that focuses around this unamed girl but....oh well. I'll think of *something*. Maybe I should make it a fan character, or just an oc....maybe a magical girl....?

Maria was born in Forks, where she lived until she was 3, and then raised until 17 in Phoenix. She detests the sun, because of so many painful sunburns, and although disliking Forks for the fact that you can't keep secrets, and there is nothing to do (or so she thought), it is a paradise of sorts for her, becuase of her love of exploring the overgrowth, and the low tolerance the town has for the sun.

She is haunted by painful memories of people she has lost, and vows to protect the people now in her life from being lost. She loves adventure and is curious, yet sometimes she brings out a hostile side of herself which is none too pleasent. She has a somewhat talent, that Edward Cullen, a vampire, cannot hear her thoughts, and she can tell when someone is moving or lying. Maria enjoys to fight, and somehow knows the safest places to hide, but also the most unlikely.

She has low tolerance for people who don't understand her motives, and even less of gossipers. Maria is caring and reaches out to those in need. She loves animals, and owns a parrot which she named "Paro." It has a strange silverish color to it and can speak because of how hard Maria has pressed it to him. She refuses to give up on things, and likes to get her way. She loves to sing, and is extremely talented at scamming people by acting blind. She knows of secret gamblers in back alleys where she can express her talents, much to Edward's dismay. She ran away from home once, because she felt as if no one understood her, and ran through Forks unknowingly, where Edward saw her, but didn't have enough time to smell her blood. Maria hates people touching her hair and being pampared in any way shape or form. She does love her birthday however, and loves to celebrate it.

Her nickname is from her love of her birthday, and is another languages way to say "April".
