So0o0o this is a little practice I'm doing with some line weight. It's obviously not completed because... well you can see the grid lines still (is that a piece of hair stuck in the scanner? o_O).
Hate my scanner so0o0o0o0o0o much! It doesn't scan things in white! It makes it look like I shot this with a camera >___> Suucks.
So anyway, I'm trying to put a little effort into creating my art portfolio to submit to colleges. This probably won't be in there because honestly... it didn't take that long to do. I barely got a cramp in my neck xD But this is a stuffed animal that sits on my dresser and sort of chills out. I've wanted to draw him ever since I got him.
Hmm, I'm trying to find a picture of the little guy D: All I can find are similar ones, not the one holding the lily pad with a snail on top >:I Oh well....
Sort of looks like these guys... except with a lily pad.
And I so just noticed that his eyes are too far up ._. How, when using a ruler, does one make such a mistake? Ah well.
They say that for every ten pieces you do for a portfolio, in the end you only choose one out of that ten to put in. So this one will probably never make it. As for what left I'm going to do with him... maybe a light coloring, and a background. Let you know how that goes (oh, I have to do some stitch work on him as well).
So this caption has gone on for way too long. Ah weeeelllll! Thanks for checking it out.

p.s. Oh, thought I might throw this in about portfolios. Listen up kiddies, if you were planning to make a portfolio to send to art colleges, and thought you'd throw some anime in there... most colleges won't accept anime because it's too easy to plagarize :) So brush up on your art skills, m'kay?
