Reasons why the character is a favorite of mine

• He has amazing mental/battle abilities far beyond those of a regular human (this is normally implied in the SEED mode scenes).
• He has a sense of loyalty to ones loved one.
• He desire's a world where divided parts of humanity (naturals and coordinators) can be free to co-exist.
• He has some amazing mecha to pilot: GAT-X105 Strike, ZGMF-X10A Freedom, and ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom.

I used PITT Artist pens and an Staedtler-brand M-type permanent marker illustrate this B&W fan art illustration of mine. For this drawing, I wanted to make a customization on Kira's uniform, so I made the center part of his uniform shirt colorless instead of using a gray shade. Hope you don't mind.
