Background: No one knows for sure where he came from, but he was lurking in the alleyways of hell until he befriended Gabriel. Years later, after betraying Gabriel's trust, he disappeared for a long stretch of time only to show up out of nowhere to form a pact with the unsuspecting Ms. Arabella Bennet.
It's unknown what his goals are, or how powerful he really is. The crimes that he's committed over millenia are largely unheard of, probably because he himself doesn't think that they're very important. He's the wild card, who neither heaven nor hell can make sense of...
