It went like this:
Kouken saw in the news that were was going to be
special occasion of shooting stars at night.
It took alot of bribing and presuaiding to get Crimson to join him.
In the end, poor Ken-chan didn't even get to see any of it.
Also, don't worry about Kouken freezing, he has fur so he gave his jacket to Crimson.

Just between Crimson and us, he really loves nighttime and stargazing. Naturally he knew about the event.
He was going to ask Kouken to join him but was too embarrased.
All the resistance was to maintain the "oh-so-cool-lonewolf" ego. Dont tell Kouken!
