For Garu's challenge, Anime fairytale!

I had a hard time deciding the fairytale for this challenge... I looking through various fairytales to spark some interest and also found some fairytales that I thought didn't have such gruesome original endings to~ It was horrific~~ D:

Anywho, a drawing of Taiga as the mermaid saving Ryuuji from drowning. I guess it can be related to either the Disney version or the original version of the Little Mermaid. You decide~ haha! ENJOY!
