Hello again!

I feel as though the artist in me finally pulled herself out of bed and told herself that she CAN draw so she can stop being so shy about it!

Anyways, this was a piece I submitted for the One Piece Podcast's "Back to the Future" competition. As the winners were announced today (and I wasn't among those ranks) I felt it'd be all right if I posted the picture here, so it can at least be viewed somehow.

Essentially, the aim of the contest was to draw some character(s) who hadn't yet made an appearance after the 2 year time skip. Sorry about the spoiler tags (you probably already know what the spoiler is) but I'm just putting it there to be safe. Anyways, I'm pretty happy with how Lola's face turned out; I seem to draw characters better when I have source material in front of me, and in this case, it was the actual manga. And that guy next to the mail bag? Yeah, that's one of the Risky Bros. Only real change for him is the fact that his afro grew out more.

EDIT: Whoops, forgot the backstory: so here, Lola somehow got her hands on a phonebook and began writing to every guy in it who could be assumed a bachelor. She's been getting nothing but refusals up to this point (and it's unlikely the rest of the letters will be anything but), but at least the men all had the decency to write her back.
