Here we have two of my characters from "The Rebels of Planet Aadau", Meh-Eh-Au on the left and Meh-Eh-Weoa on the right. For those who don't know, these two have an awkward friendship. In this scene, they are sharing a sad moment. For those who don't want spoilers (as of this submission, I haven't posted the chapter this illustrates) I will use spoiler tags. Meh-Eh-Au has advanced to a higher level than all of his fellow trainees, and is being taken for private training. He and Meh-Eh-Weoa are saying goodbye.

I found this sketch that I made a year or two ago, and decided to ink and color it. The reason I did this is because I wanted to give some references to the person who might choose to draw them for the SS Event.

I noticed that Meh-Eh-Weoa sicks out like a sore thumb against that grey background. I'm still experimenting with the shades of green in her color scheme. I'm pretty settled on Meh-Eh-Au's color scheme, and he looks better against the background. Man, I sure use a lot of grey in my art.

Done in pencil, ink pens, and colored pencils on sketch paper.
