For superstarpanou's challenge Choose Your Character!

My old fighting game character re-done~! I liked her idea, but I didn't know how to draw her, and now I think I've figure it out.

I've named her Ling as in the Chinese word for zero, but the pronunciation is different. It's just Ling now...XD

Ling is and Afro-Chinese cyborg. When she was about 11 she was hit by a car. She was probably going to die, but she was saved by science, being the first successful cyborg with half a robot brain. Because of this she has lost most of her humanity and emotion. She doesn't feel for other humans as she has not be treated like a normal person because she is a cyborg. She has an immense love for animals, though.

She uses the Bajiquan fighting style. Because of her many robot parts she is very heavy and can land fatal hits on her opponents, which is often forbidden for her. She tries to hit in less vital areas because of this, but she doesn't really care if she kills a person.

She lives a life of depression. She wishes she died in that car accident because now that she is a cyborg and celebrity she is forced to fight people, which she would have never done. The experience of it all is painful for her.

Why is she used in fighting tournaments? Because she is the child of a famous martial artist who has always wanted somebody to live on with his fame. Previously, having a little girl was unfortunate because she would never be as famous even just fighting as a woman. Luckily she is put in universal tournaments because of her condition (which is not considered a disability).

Her eyes are fake, by the way, which is why they're all lit up like that! XD I can imagine she's not very safe waling home at night...O.o;

I tried to colour her like Nona does! XD

I really liked this character, too, so I tried to make her look good. I like drawing her because of her unique look! >:D
