Here's an character design idea I've been tossing around for a while, but haven't finalized anything about the character.

He's sort of an experienced fighter. He has a rather brash personality, and would most likely be the first to jump in a fight.

He is mostly a lone wolf. Had some friends years back, but died due to a failed mission (which he thinks is his fault.) Because of this experience, he'd rather not be in a group, nor get close with any people. But if do manage to find people he like, he'd probably stick with them 'til the very end.

Weapon on his arm is a magical gauntlet. Inscribed on it is the word "sandata" in Baybayin or Alibata, which means weapon. It is known to be able to change to different weapons, with the gauntlet as its default form. The wearer's "will" and "strength of mind" determines the form. Known forms are the sword and spear. The entire gauntlet transforms, and can generally hold its form while the user wills it to be. It is rumored to have other forms which he is trying to discover. Origin of the gauntlet is unknown, and how he obtained it - is a legend of its own - mostly due to his highly embellished stories. One story tells of how he got it after defeating a ten-foot giant golem. It magically dropped it after he killed it. One story mentions of how he got it while adventuring through a deep and dangerous cave. He found it at the end of the cave, inside a treasure box. The stories seem too unbelievable to be true.

Note: I have yet to finalize a name.

Technical Notes:
- I found inspiration in the clothes design from Link.
- Baybayin (Alibata) is a pre-Spanish Philippine writing system.
- Setting will probably be an Alternate Universe with magic and stuff. That ought to be fun.
- Took me at least 4 - 6 hours to digitally sketch the concept, ink it, and color.
