I wanted to submit in this in time for a contest, but missed the deadline. Nor was I happy with the image, until tonight. My brother gave me his scanner, and it works wonders and seems to love colored images.

Go. Read it. Howl is a much more interesting character in the book. Sophie too, of course.

Miyazaki's Howl is a wonderful adaptation, don't get me wrong. But I strongly believe that the wizard and strong willed teenage girl duo that they are based upon, both deserve bright spotlights.
