My oc's name is June Finley and he's 23 years old. He's very hard-working and kind; he's usually calm, perceptive, and quick-witted. However, he can also be secretive and maybe too self-reliant.
He has two jobs: one at a small newspaper company and another as one of the leaders of an underground information network called the Black Alley. Taking advantage of both jobs, he has been secretly researching something for the past five years. But his reason for doing this is because his foster mother died in a car accident and he cannot accept her death. Regarding this, he can act rashly, and it resulted in a fight that sent him to the hospital and an argument with his older brother figure. Although in the end, he is able to accept her death, rely on others more, and thus become more free.
Originally June was supposed to die when he acted too rashly, but I changed it and it made me love him even more because it allowed for more character development. The death of his foster mother was based on the death of a crossing guard in my hometown, and his emotions were the amplified emotions I felt regarding that accident and the emotions I feel when thinking what would happen when my parents die. I love that despite those emotions, he is able to move on and still have his kind personality.
Also he's supposed to have black hair but something went wrong in the coloring.
