What is this? We're going into sci-fi years next year!! Where did 2019 go?!?

I hit the art block hard for a couple months in the middle of this year, and drawing came in spurts. But I can still say that I made progress, particularly in the hands department. My figures used to be pretty stiff when I focused too much on doing the anatomy correctly, and that's gotten a bit better, too.

January: Coloring, coloring, love my new skintones for traditional coloring ~ *ahem* I believe this was Hikaru's first traditional color after I got good tan and dark skintone markers. I colored him along with a few other characters that I drew in a previous OCtober. (Hikaru, Dreamer (c) me)

February: Ren, RWBY

March: An art trade with Nino Umaka of her OC, Ryan.

April: Naoyuki, So Distant (c) me

May: An art trade with cylcca on DA of her OC, Elise.

June: My character for DA's dis-colour roleplay, Khalil.

July: Getting stuck in a rut causes art block.

August: Art block continues.

September: Sharon, Mara and Jun-ai (Eternal Rain universe) got time-skip designs this year.

October: Had fun doing OCtober again. Pictured are three adopts whose backstories I'm slowly piecing together -- Everett, Shay and Tristan.

November: Tested a new skintone marker on my OC, Hikari (Search for the Sky).

December: Practicing doing lighting in traditional color with my OC, Takumi (Eternal Rain universe).

Since I didn't draw as much as I wanted to, I didn't quite meet my lighting and foreshortening goals from last year. (Only did the one lighting piece.) I'll keep working on those!
