Oh gosh yes!!! For the extended CS6 it's about $1,000 (Canadian dollars)!!! Dx It's worth it though~ But shhhh, I got mine for free xD

I just use VLC snapshot, and Ulead GIF animator, but I'm sure
your way would have more/fancier options..

Considering all the things you can do with photoshop,
I kinda understand why it's so expensive!! I've just recently
learned that you can automate actions(such a time saver LOL)

Well, how I get my videos is with a program called Youtube Downloader. You type the URL into it and it downloads the video for you~
You can also download them from websites like 4shared and that. Or you can use a program like Bandicam that records what is being displayed on your computer screen.
Or you can go all high-tech and buy the $200 device that you can connect to your DVD player/PS3/VCR to your computer and record the video. But your best bet is Youtube Downloader x3
