This is an excerpt from Chapter Three of Koden, which is nearing its publication date. I particularly liked this scene, as I had a lot of fun doing it. I also really haven't done anything with Takashi except draw pictures of him, so this gives a bit of sampling into his character - and gives a bit more of an insight into Ren's character as well...especially her adherence to the caste system.

Koden is loosely set in Japan's Warring States era, before the rise of Nobanaga.
