Everyone knows about how most Characters/OCs somehow end up getting abused in some way... but somehow later on they turn out okay, so here's the deal:

Create a story or poem about a character/oc's tragedy within their life but overcoming it, about finding love, or making a friend with someone

I tend to have trouble with deadlines so this will be for three months...

Rules:

PLEASE NO sex in the stories... I know it's sad but I really don't want to hear about rape, being molested, or all that... it's pretty scarring for some people to read
Yaori and yuri is ALLOWED as long as it isn't hardcore (as in it must be a sweet type)

Bonus points:

Including Christmas as a major plotline point
Describing the story/poem in detail
