Story about Alucard and Integra Hellsing. I do think that Alucard has a special bond with Integra, and that's what I wanted to base this story off of.

With a sudden jolt, Integra awoke from her nightmare with a yell. She sat up in bed, her body trembling in fear of the images she witnessed in her bloody dream. Wiping tears away from her crystal pale blue eyes, the 12 year old girl hugged herself. She was afraid. Integra always suffered from nightmares, but recently gotten worse due to all that has occurred in her lifetime. In the past when she would awaken to terrifying dreams, she would find comfort with her mother or father. Now she couldn’t, since they both died. Integra was left with the Hellsing organization and those original members of Hellsing that were willing to help her grow up to be a successful woman who was destined to be the leader of the organization that she was born into. She grew up knowing these people and was comfortable around them, even so, it wasn’t the same as being with her parents.
She was all alone in the world in her own tragic way. These dreams really did tear her apart emotionally. She wished there was somebody that she could run to as a source of comfort, and provide a sense of safety. If only there was someone like that in her life now…
Integra’s crying came to a halt suddenly as an idea occurred to her. Maybe there was somebody…or something. As she sat in her bed pondering over the thought, she realized she was foolish for such an idea. But for some unexplained reason, she wanted to see the very thing that haunted her mind constantly. Integra couldn’t begin to comprehend this, for it troubled her as to why she wanted to see that monster.
Before she realized what she was doing, Integra slipped out of bed, replaced the glasses back on her delicate face and lit a candle before walking out noises, she sneaked her way to the key that was placed upon a string as a necklace and unlocked the dudgeon door before her, making sure to securely close it behind her.
The cold, damp, and dark corridor gave off an eerie affect. Integra didn’t know why she wanted to come down to this dudgeon to see him of all things. Continuing to walk, she tried to look for the iron door to his chamber. She finally spotted it, halting right in front of the door, deciding whether or not she should really do this. Her hands were slightly trembling as she opened the door to Alucard’s chamber.
A handsome man wearing a fancy crimson long coat over a finely tailored suit, along with clean crisp white gloves, and black boots, was sitting in a long-back chair with his legs crossed and his hands folded in his lap. Integra took a step closer, looking around at her surroundings. Analyzing the dark chamber, she noticed a side table by Alucard’s chair with a hat also the color of crimson and glasses that she knew belonged to the man sitting in front of her. She saw what looked like a wine bottle and a wine glass filled with a liquid…a dark red substance. Blood. A candle was lit and set upon the table also, so she quickly put out her own that she carried.
Integra glanced over to the wall to the right of her. Her eyes widened and her heart skipped a beat. A coffin. She wasn’t actually surprised to see it in this chamber, but just the thought of having a sanctuary for the dead located right there in front of her. It sent a chill down her spine. She couldn’t seem to look away from it.
“Good evening, Master.” The sound of Alucard’s voice broke her trance. Looking up, she saw those blood red eyes piercing through her very soul. The man a smile of some sick humor, showing razor sharp fangs.
Why did she end up here of all places? Why in this chamber with this “gift” left to her by her late father? Why a vampire? This vampire, Alucard, served as her protection. Integra awakened him from a vampiric slumber of more than twenty years, not more than a couple of months ago.
“Don’t you think it a little unwise for a human to walk into a vampire’s liar?”
“I know, but honestly I don’t really know why I’m here. It’s all so confusing.” She looked down at her feet, then suddenly all the emotions that were caged up inside her came out in tears.
“I’m sorry…I’ll leave.” She turned to go, while rubbing away the stream of tears.
“I’m not going to hurt you. I vowed to the Hellsing family years ago that I would protect the lord of the family and organization. That is you now. Your under my protection from now on.”
“It’s not that!” Integra snapped back at Alucard, turning to look at him.
“It’s just that everything is falling apart in my life, and there’s nobody to run to for help…”
“There must be a reason why you are here, Master. Do you need anything?”
“I just need somebody to talk to.” Integra walked up to the vampire and stopped.
Maybe that was the answer all along…
“Is it okay that I talk to you, Alucard?”
“If that is your command, Master.” She took this opportunity to step forward and before thinking about what she was doing, climbed on to Alucard’s lap. Integra had no idea why she did that, and looked up at a face worn by absolute puzzlement.
“I’m sorry…I don’t know why I did that.”
“I’m just surprised that you did. If I was in your position, I wouldn’t even sit on the lap of a vampire that said he’d protect me. You’re very brave, Master.” Sitting on Alucard’s lap, she realized that he was vary cold, similar to ice. Even his clothes were cold.
“I heard you hollering earlier. Why was that?”
“I…I had a bad dream.”
“What about, Master?”
Reluctantly, Integra told him the best she could.
“People being brutally murdered without mercy. You were the cause…” Hesitantly, she looked up at the pale cold face.
“I see.”
“Do vampires dream?”
“Sometimes.”
“Do you?”
“……”
“You don’t have to answer.”
“Sometimes, I dream of a world that only I exist.”
“But why?”
“Because I don’t like anyone in particular.”
“Oh…not even vampires?”
“I don’t like humans or vampires in general. There may be a few individuals that are okay.”
Integra sat there and listened, thinking about what Alucard said. Sleep tried to take a hold of her, she began to feel heavy as her body relaxed.
“A world like that would be nice…” Her conscious fell into darkness as a dark sleep overcame her. Alucard glanced down to see his Master asleep in his lap. He smirked at the spectacle.
“To fall asleep on a vampire’s lap…the most idiotic thing that a human could commit.”
He swore to never harm her.
Alucard stood up with Integra in his arms, careful not to crush the 12 year old girl with his preternatural strength. Walking out of his chamber, then through the dudgeon and out. He was cautious not to wake her. He walked along the mansion’s finely decorated hallways and stopped when he got to Integra’s bedroom door. Focusing with his mind on the door handle, Alucard opened it and walked inside. With ease, the vampire laid her down on her bed.
“I will never hurt you, Master.” He turned on his heels and disappeared in thin air.
Back in the chamber, Alucard reappeared, morphing in from the wall. He walked over to his chair, sat down and picked up the wine glass that was sitting on the table. Alucard took a sip of the blood, and rested his head against the back of the chair.
“I will always protect you, Master…”
