Alright this is a fanword challenge entry for Sandlover13's "Shukaku the Sand Spirit Rises Again!" whoot! ^^ so I had the idea of highschool biju a long time ago, here would be Shukaku's little story ^^
HIGHSCHOOL SHUKAKU... OH BOY.
RIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!-SMASH!
"I was having the nicest dream... stupid clock..." Shukaku raised his head from the pillow and looked around his room before looking at the alarm clock "... ah hell I'm gonna be late! I'm supposed to meet Yuri this morning!"
Shukaku jumped out of bed but got tangled in the covers and just fell off. "Ok this is not my best morning! work with me here would ya?!" he yelled as he untangled himself from the covers and got dressed in his usual red shirt and black jeans then grabbed his bottle of sake, cleverly disguised as water in a water bottle, and ran out the door. "Aw man I forgot my bookbag!" he yelled in frustration as he practically knocked down the door to get his bag. He slid into the kitchen and almost ran into the counter, but right once he got his bag he was out of the house, then he ran into someone on the sidewalk,causing both of them to fall down.
"I'm sorry I-..." Shukaku's words cut right off when he noticed who the person was.
"Shukaku-kun what's the rush? I was supposed to meet you at your house remember?" Yuri said as she gathered the things she had dropped.
... I feel like a baka. Shukaku thought as he helped Yuri with her things, blushing madly. "Sorry Yuri-chan. I woke up late."
"are you sure you just didn't forget?"
"forget about you? never!" shukaku replied animatedly.
Yuri giggled as Shukaku helped her up. "Well, we might want to hurry to the bus stop. bus will come any minute."
"You're kidding right?! jeez!" Shukaku said angrily and was running down the street with Yuri in the blink of an eye. Thankfully they weren't late for the bus.
"Jeez baka, what did you do get your breakfast in your hair?" Kyuubi said jokingly at the obviously bedheaded shukaku who was trying to catch his breathe from the running. Shukaku glared.
"at least I don't have a stupid stick up my butt." technically Kyuubi wasn't lying... Shukaku had muffin crumbs in his hair. Both were glaring at eachother as their friends sighed.
"Here we go again" Neka commented.
"It's getting old." Hachi replied.
Shukaku and Kyuubi both ignored them. Shukaku started getting the crumbs out of his hair as Yuri got a comb out of her purse. A new girl came walking up and instead she started annoying Kyuubi. Which gave Shukaku enough time to make sure he didn't put his shirt on backwards or inside out or anything else. Everything was fine by the time the bus came. Panic was for nothing earlier.
Shukaku sat next to Kyuubi on the bus as he drank his sake and laughed and talked loudly. Believe it or not, this was a normal day. And Shukaku wouldn't have it any other way.
