One day a loan wolf was out hunting in the moonlit night. This loan wolf was named Kodak. Kodak is the last wolf on earth. He can take on a human form when in human territory, but only dogs and wolves can see the truth of it. Kodak is a teenager, in human years he's at least 16. He is searching for other wolves, wolves that are just like him.
That morning, after he hunted that took all night, he decided to go on human territory.
"Man, am I tired! There was barely any food in the forest. Bad enough, it was snowing!" Said Kodak with a voice of complaint.
"At least the humans have food here!" he said looking at a food stand.
As he walked through the city of Ruin he bumped into someone by accident.
"Oh! Sorry!" he said looking surprised.
"Wait are you a wolf!" The 15 year old boy asked.
"How?-" He said cut off by the boy.
"I'm Izune!"
"Um, I'm Kodak. I've been searching for wolves like me, but I never knew that there were others." said Kodak with amazement.
"Well, counting me and you, there are only 5 of us left. Hey, let's find them together! It's no fun going it alone you know!" Izune said smiling,
"Okay, maybe you have a point, but where do we look first anyway?" asked Kodak,
"Well, I heard stories about the Northern Lights down in Alaska. They say if you howl up there all wolves can here you, and all of the wolves will come to the Northern Lights to howl together." said Izune,
"Okay then! Let's go together! Maybe on the way we can find some of the wolves!" said Kodak with excitement.
So they set off on there journey running to town to town, village to village, but didn't see a single wolf like them. Until they got to Manora Village. There they noticed a silver haired maiden about the age of 16. But as Kodak and Izune were both the color of brown and black, she was a silver wolf. A color never seen before. Kodak and Izune both hid behind a corner of a house observing her while she was feeding a puppy by hand. They were fine until Nova, one of the half wolf dogs in the village barked and blew their cover.
"Damnit!" said Kodak.
When the girl saw them, she was scared and took a few steps back. As if they were monsters. Then she ran. An old man came up to them and told them about the girl.
"I'm terribly sorry about Rena. You see she's frightened by her kind. When she was found she was told terrifying stories of wolf humans. We only want peace with the wolves. So we won't tell anyone." said the old man.
"Well, he looks wise enough." whispered Izune.
"Who cares! We have to catch up with her!" Said Kodak running the direction Rena ran.
He slowed down with Izune trying to follow, but Kodak ran so fast that he fell down the cliff leading to a waterfall. Rena was so surprised by the impact that she punched Kodak so hard it made his face swell up.
"Damnit! What did you do that for?!" said Kodak surprised.
"I'm sorry. You frightened me." She said with a frightened look.
Izune jumped off the cliff landing on his feet.
"Kodak! Are you alright?" asked Izune.
"No!" Said Kodak out loud.
"Hey Rena, what was up back there? You just flipped out and ran away from us." said Izune,
"Listen Rena, you don't need to be afraid. Wolves like us don't mess with humans. What those stories are, are lies! They just do that to frighten people. And that leads to our own death. We need your help to find the other two wolves and a place where we can find peace! Most likely a Paradise for our own kind!" said Kodak,
"You mean there are others? Is that all really true?" Rena asked,
"Most likely. But it's up to you if you want to come with us." said Izune,
"I need to tell everyone in the village first. I can't stay here much longer!" She said,
So they all went back to the village and Rena was announcing her leave with Kodak and Izune.
"Everyone! I've noticed my calling! I need to find my own rightful place in this world! And that place is where Kodak and Izune are going! I thank you for taking care of me over the past years, but I must journey elsewhere! Anyway, I'm grateful, but I need to say farewell!" She announced crying.
Everyone said there good byes and they set off again. They were closer to the Northern Lights, and still the other wolves weren't found. Ten days later they were near in a forest.
"Damn! We still haven't found at least one other wolf!" yelled Rena,
"Did you here something?" asked Izune with his ears straight up.
"No, just Rena's complaining!" answered Kodak,
They all stopped when they heard a movement in the bushes. It was a dark grey wolf about the age of 17 in human years.
"What are outsiders doing in my territory! Are you here to hunt? If so I wouldn't if I were you!" he said,
This wolf was different. He seemed more alone. And a bit to young to be a rouge wolf. So, who was he?
"We're just passing through! I'm Kodak, that's Izune, and that's Rena. And who are you?" Asked Kodak in an alert tone.
"My name is Senel. I hunt in these woods! Why are you here?" asked Senil,
"We came to find you and another wolf! Will youcome with us! If so, you can hunt in Paradise!" said Izune,
Senel joined them when Rena explained everything about the Paradise. And they set off. Finally, they reached Alaska. They waited for nightfall of the 3rd night. Finally, after the harsh 3 days of hunting and blizzards, it was the 3rd nightfall. Suddenly, an array of different colored lights lit the night sky. It was the Northern Lights! The three wolves looked at it with amazement. Suddenly, they all howled as if a cry for help. It all was like a serenity of paradise. All of a sudden a snow white wolf appeared. And began to howl on the snow hill top.
Suddenly, a voice called out. And the array of lights surrounded the five wolves. The voice told them the white wolf's name. It was Yukaro. The white wolf of water and ice. The voice told them that they had to become the elemental wolf guardians of Paradise. They were each given an element. Kodak fire and darkness, Rena wind and heal, Senel earth, Izune light. They each wielded these powers to live in the Paradise. The voice told Kodak about the cry of the wolf. A cry that summons everything you need, but mainly wolves from the past. There Kodak was the most important. He is there key to survival.
Suddenly, Kodak howled, and that howl was a cry for wolves. A cry for paradise. The five ordinary wolves became guardians of survival for all wolves. This was the beginning of a long and adventurous journey where they'll meet a lot of enemies. The journey of survival. This was just the beginning.
