'Ponyo' Inspiration Untouched
In a recent court hearing, the Hiroshima Court District ruled in favor of preserving Tomonoura Harbor, the driving influence for Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's Ponyo. The site was planned to be for a new bridge. Miyazaki was reportedly very pleased by the outcome. Source Link
