Waanzin, Haar Naam Is Silent Hill
"Otaku Madness" is definitely the word for it. A Dutch man was recently found not guilty of killing the power of the Sophia Hospital in Zwolle in The Netherlands back in April (on Queen's Day, no less). He was in the basement of the hospital throwing switches in the hopes of unlocking a toothbrush - he explicitly mentioned thinking he was in Silent Hill. The insanity plea seems fitting, really.
