Legendary Pictures Licenses a Legend
America's Legendary Pictures production company has licensed the rights to make a new Godzilla film, and plans to open the film in 2012. Legendary Pictures is co-producing and co-financing the film with Warner Brothers. No director has been announced yet, but it has already been announced that the new movie will be more a parallel to the original 1954 release than the 1998 remake. Source Link
