WB Wants Somewhat Family-Friendly Akira
In an interview, director Albert Hughes (The Book of Eli) stated Warner Bros. has given him a mandate of a PG-13 rating for the Akira movie he's been slated to direct. He also said the film isn't in production yet, mainly because they're "trying to get the script right". Another version of it is reportedly coming in September. Source Link
