How To Ruin A Convention
The Baltimore Convention Center, home of the Otakon convention, was evacuated today at around 2 p.m. due to a pulled fire alarm. No one was hurt in the evacuation. Crews who arrived at the scene reported there was no evidence of an actual fire found at the site. The incident caused the delay of some panels and, as a result, Otakon officials have extended the hours of operation for the dealer's room and art show, and have begun rescheduling panels affected by the evacuation.
