Mangaka Weighs In On Download Debate
The scanlation debate rages on. Recently, Yana Toboso, creator of the Kuroshitsuji manga, posted on her blog about the issue, criticizing the practice. She said the actions are "unmistakably illegal" and compared reading scalations and watching unauthorized streams to "shoplifting or leaving a restaurant without paying the bill". She went on to say if people continue with the practice "we creators and voice actors will not eat; this is no joke, we will starve and die. This is not 'lol.'" Source Link
