Well, If You're Gonna Plagiarize...
The Iwate Nippo newspaper recently held a contest in their publication for the most romantic words to use to propose to someone. The winner's entry? "I'll give you half of my life, so give me half of yours." It's admittedly a nice line, but the rub is that it's actually a line taken from the final chapter of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, which was published in June. Once the lift was realized, the entry was disqualified and the entire contest was rejudged. Source Link
