The president of Kadokawa Shoten, Shinichiro Inoue, announced Wednesday via Twitter the company is pulling its exhibit from the Tokyo Anime Fair in protest. The protest is in response to a recently reintroduced bill to modify an ordinance which prevents sale of "harmful publications" to citizens under 18 to include drafts against the sale of manga and anime that also features "overglorification" of sexual acts. Inoue stated he "cannot accept the stance taken toward manga creators and people in the anime industry". Source Link
