Group Plans Alternative Event To Tokyo Anime Fair
A group of anime and manga companies led by Kadokawa and ANIMATE have announced that they will be holding a new event called the Anime Contents Expo in order to promote their works after deciding to boycott the Tokyo International Anime Fair. The event is scheduled to take place at the Makuhari Messe event center in Chiba, Japan on March 26-27, 2011, which is the same date that the Tokyo International Anime Fair will take place.
