New Manga Seeks To Fight Child Abuse
In an unusual move for magazines aimed at teenage boys, Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday recently released a three-part manga series titled, "Chiisai Hito: Aoba Jido-Sodanjo Monogatari" (Little person: The story of the Aoba child consultation center) in an effort to combat child abuse in Japan. The manga centers around a young child welfare worker's efforts to save abused children and is based on actual child abuse cases covered by a former newspaper reporter. Source Link
