Manga Sharing: Quick Buck, Quick Trip to Jail
An 18-year-old student in Japan was arrested for uploading hundreds of manga via MEGAUPLOAD. After taking scans from other sharing sites, he distributed them through a private blog to over two million people, making a profit of 300,000 yen (about $3,600 USD).
