Today's Secret Word Is...!
The Oxford English Dictionary added the word 'hentai' today to its online edition. Defined as 'a subgenre of the Japanese genres of manga and anime, characterized by overtly sexualized characters and sexually explicit images and plot', the term joins other words of Japanese origin currently in the OED; 'otaku' was added in 2005, followed by 'hikikomori' in 2010.
