CLAMP Creates New Blood-Based Anime/Movie/Manga
Mangaka quartet CLAMP has revealed they will be launching a new anime series based on the Blood: The Last Vampire franchise, titled "Blood-C", this July. The series is also scheduled to receive a film next year and will receive a manga adaptation, set to launch in the July issue of Shounen Ace.
The group, famous for several manga including Cardcaptor Sakura, Tokyo Babylon, Tsubasa: Resevoir Chronicle, and xXxHolic, will be overseeing the creation of the story and character designs with supervision handled by Blood+ director Jun'ichi Fujisaku. Production I.G. will be reportedly handling animation for the new show and movie.
