Miku Officially Comes State-Side
Japanese techno-pop band supercell, recorder of smash singles such as World is Mine, Love is War, BlackRock Shooter and Melt, will release their first U.S. full-length album debut soon through Sony Music Direct. And they brought along Miku Hatsune.
supercell, which has used the technology of Crypton Future Media previously in the very best way, can be credited as one of the bands which truly created the Miku phenomenon, with their piano driven J-pop ballads complimenting Miku's high pitched vocals.
Miku Hatsune, the Vocaloid idol singer, has starred in countless music videos, appeared as a video game and anime character, sold out multiple concerts and is now scheduled to perform her first U.S. concert, MIKUNOPOLIS in LOS ANGELES, at Anime Expo 2011.
