Gorgeous Japanese Pop Star Turns Out To Be Animated
Japanese fans of all-girl pop group AKB 48 were punked hard when it was revealed that the newly enlisted member of the band--Eguchi Aimi--was entirely computer-generated.
Well, not entirely computer-generated...Her face and voice was actually created from video captures of the best features of the other singers. Picture a more attractive, female version of Frankenstein. Ultimately, the old saying applies: "Six girls are better than one, unless six girls can somehow techno-magically combine into one, then one girl is better than six." Or something...
