Yesterday's Miyamoto News Is Today's Official Statement...
See, this is what I get for trying to post news... apparently that last post about Shigeru Miyamoto retiring from his position and stepping back down into the nitty-gritty forefront of game development may not be completely correct.
Nintendo today officially put out a statement that "He has no intention of stepping down. Please do not be concerned."
Japanese to English mistranslation? Off-the-cuff statement taken more seriously than it was meant? A quick fix for the fact that Nintendo's stock dropped 2% yesterday after the last news post dropped? I guess we'll find out sooner or later.
