theO's Newest Mascot: Who Is The Butterfly Hunter?
The Butterfly Hunter is our new mascot character who runs around theOtaku.com and takes care of all the little bugs/improvements that most of you would never notice even existed. Every so often we'll make a post that shows you a list of all the things that have been upgraded around the site since the last update.
...Here we go!
- Every page on the backroom loads much faster
- There's a "Browse All" link on every site that lets you jump from the portal view to a quick grid view
- The work that's featured on the main page and on the sub-sites isn't 100% random anymore, there's an intelligent formula behind it
- Your favorites page is MUCH cleaner, as is the main hub for all categories
- When you filter eCards by type, the type now stays active in the drop down menu
- Voting and views shows up on iPhone Wallpapers
Whew. Catching butterflies is hard and the work of a Butterfly Hunter is never done, so to help the Butterfly Hunter out, we're going to soon introduce a more streamlined "bug reporting" page.
The rarest butterfly of them all is figuring out how to fix mis-reported PM numbers. This hard-working little fellow has spent at least 10 hours hunting it to little success.
